The BIG NEWS is that after 11 years at Cressing Temple ALL 'The Essex Food Shows' are moving to the exciting NEW VENUE of Crowne Plaza Resort Colchester - Five Lakes.

The GOOD NEWS is that we will have a much bigger and better site, which will provide lots more space for exhibitors, hard parking for over 900 cars, plus the benefit of all the superb on-site restaurants, bars and leisure facilities of the resort.

All indoor stalls will be sited in the huge exhibition arena, outside stalls will be sited adjacent to the arena on an attractive grassed area.

This years events will, as usual, be promoting a superb range of food, drinks, and kitchen accessories in the specialised event arena, with lots of quality caterers as well as the ever popular range of garden plants and furniture.

All the popular regular exhibitors will be there plus many new producers. We make a special effort to showcase as many high quality local producers as possible, with the majority of stalls having a "taste before you buy" policy. You will also find a selection of fine foods from all over the world, usually including Polish, Indian, Greek, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, Mediterranean, South East Asian and Caribbean.

This is your opportunity to check out a vast range of really good food and drink, not usually available in your local supermarket. Rare breed meat producers, game, speciality sausages, smoked foods, fresh fruit and vegetables, pickles, preserves and sauces, cakes, chocolates, locally brewed beers and cider, plus a wide selection of wines, spirits and lots, lots more.

A full programme of entertainment is planned to take place throughout each weekend. Each event has in the region of 130 stalls and regularly attracts approximately 5,000 visitors.

Near the coastal town of Maldon, Essex is the 1st Crowne Plaza Resort in the UK. Set in 320 acres of unspoiled Essex countryside the newly refurbished Resort offers some of the finest sports and leisure facilities in the south east of England including two magnificent 18-hole golf courses.
